Say good-bye to TINT and Teamspeak Overlay. Teamsp eak 3 has it's very own built-in In-Game overlay. Just go into Teamspeak 3 and choose Settings>Plugin s. Checkmark DirectX Overlay Plugin This is a screen I took in Team Fortress 2 today while using it: The Overlay is adjustable to where you want it on the screen and how transparent it is. You can also change the colors of the text and background as well. Once you load it, you'll see that the default isn't very pretty looking. You'll need to adjust it. These are my settings. It's pretty easy to fiddle with. Just compare the defaults to what I set. You should be able to figure it out. ![]() Note for X, Y coordinates. I left the default X axis and changed the Y axis to 450. Since my monitor resolution is 1920x1080, the Y axis is around half of the 1080. That's the position it took in the screenshot. For similar results, choose half of your Y listed resolution. For instance, 1024x768 you'd want half of 768. I'd prolly go with 350 or less there. It's a matter of personal preference. No te, the default Window Opacity is at 0. Simply put, that's the transparency of the background color of the overlay window. Well, it sucks at 0. I put it at 30 and it appears clearly. Note, the colors by default are yellow. Ugh, sucks if you're not using a black background. So, I went with the good ole green that I've been used to. If you have any problems figuring it out, just ask. I'll help you if I can :) Edited Sun May 15 2011, 03:44PM |

You're very welcome Air :) I fiddled with it some more last night after I posted this. I like the Windows Apacity better at 25 which makes the window a tad bit more see-thru- able. I hope the next version of this allows a Font choice. I'd sure like to make some adjustments from the default. Their documents say that it's adjustable, but it may have been disabled in the latest release for some reason. Hmm. Oh, and here's the actual website for the Ts3 DX Overlay with additional screenshots to peruse. They have a forum as well :) >>>Website Link Here>>> [-link-] Edited Sun May 15 2011, 04:05PM |
