Had a great weekend till - Going down a rocky 4 wheel drive trail at the ranch and a strap on the ATV broke due to the roughness of the road - Resulting in the ATV breaking free (Yes it was in gear) and going through the back of my rear window - Resulting in a $800 insurance claim and a $500 deductible - Today I ordered a headache rack to prevent this BS from happening again. Good thing - My 3 year daughter did not get hurt. She was sitting in the seat in front of the window when it shattered. She was scared shitless.

HAHAHAH! THAT SOOOOOO HAPPENED TO ME IN 2001! Same ordeal too, shitty rut-having trail, strap broke, bike was in gear, but just slid right into the rear window. In my case my Yamaha freaking tore up the rear of the bed too. Cost me $240 for the window and about $150 in paint and bondo. Did the work myself. | ||

shouldn't that glass be shatter proof like windshields are? maybe they are only required by law use it in the windshield only, if so thats BS. glad no one got hurt. | ||

They are shatter proof. When the atv hit the window cracked all over the place and slowly started falling apart on the seat. I got out and took some of the window since the road was still really bumpy. | ||
