Everyone has the potential to do what this man has been tasked with. But I agree with you completely. The only true power a president has in foreign policy. When it comes to domestic policy they have little power, they can veto and they can "urge" decisions. Why the media only concentrates on something the president has little to do with when compared to the free-reign they get with foreign policy is mind boggling. That he decided to delegate part of this task to NASA who has to fight for scraps from the government funding bucket is just proof positive he doesn't care much about the situation with Muslim relations. This is insulting everyone's intelligence, you can do just about anything and you decide to go and give the this task of "reaching out" to someone who is trying to keep itself from falling apart (Houston's NASA center is dying a slow and painful death right now). I also love how the education system is getting frak too. I vote for this guy...he at least admits he's evil.  |
