Well for the past year I have been wanting to buy one of of the O1911ANVII and one of the 0911ANVIII due to the high popularity of these guns. Colt will only manufacturer 750 of the II and 5,000 of the III. After doing research and calling throughout the US (30 or more gun shops) I have finally found some open orders on a few of these guns. They are selling out fast, shops have been taking orders since only January. Most orders have been already taking even before the guns have been even shipped from Colt. Here is a link to the guns: [-link-] The II series ranges from $2500 to $3500 if you can find it, III series is in the $1100 range. By the end of the year the prices will go higher substantialy. If any of you are interested I can hook you up on a few of these. Once I get them in I will take pics. |
