Heya Fang, long time man. I was just thinking of you the other day wondering where you were off to. Good that you came back to see us again. Many peeps are playing Rift at the moment. I'm playing Champions and Bad Company 2. Bunch of us were playing Global Agenda, but that seems to have fallen off. It recently went F2P, btw. I don't have 2142 installed anymore, but there were a couple peeps that recently mentioned that they wanted to play it again. You'd just have to chat it up on Ts and see who wants to give it a go. Series mentioned BF2 the other day. You could do that. We're all waiting for BF3, of course. Hope you get that and have fun with us again. Make sure to pre-order the limited edition or you'll not receive 4 maps with the store purchase regular edition. Meh. They're always trying to seperate the gamers somehow. Anyway, that's just a headsup to order early. |

We got a couple guys who have Brink. The reviews say this game is just terrible, but I don't see how it's THAT bad. Sure, it's got some flaws that could easily be worked out in a patch, but nothing that's seriously flawed with the actual game mechanics. | ||

I think the cause of bad reviews has to do with hype. So many games these days get so much hype through advertising that people expect a perfect game upon release. It's just not possible, and the most vocal people are those who are disappointed with some tiny nuance. We all bitch and moan about something in the games we play, but we keep playing them because we still enjoy them. I've been playing XBox lately, and believe me when I say that I have seen some major flaws in games. I got the newest Medal of Honor, and there was a particular mission where I had to wait for the enemy to move to a certain location (stupid linear scripting) before I made a move, but they wouldn't move! I opted to pop them all instead. All I got was an ass chewing from my AI controlled teammate, even though the threat was eliminated, and I moved to the next checkpoint, he still would not move. I was forced to start over multiple times. Btw it all went fine the first time, but I was killed before the next checkpoint, so that's the reason why I had to start over. It took about a dozen tries before it all worked out. Moral of the story; The game is what you make of it. I still want to play Brink, but my pc isn't what it used to be. I'm planning to build a new one this summer, though. |

I miss my PC. Maybe in a couple years I can build a new one. I will be playing B3 on XBOX. I was talking to Mooch earlier to see if I could just put a new vid card in it, but the processor is not good enough to play B3, so no point to that. =( | ||

Heya fellas. Long time no see, really miss playing with you all. Haven't really got the time anymore. My day consists of getting up at 5 am, going to work, gym for about 45 min, and than shower and school until around 10 pm. Miss gaming with you guys we kicked some serious butt :) Is everyone still around? No ones left the clan I hope. Anyways all that brings me to my point. Mack, I have no time for my PC and I stay with my girl anyways, how would you like mine? Ill sell it to you cheap, all you would need is a new motherboard which fried. It's running windows 7, has 8 gigs of ram, geforce 9800gtx with after market fan on it, and an AMD phemnon quad core. Fans all over this thing keep it ice cold. Anyways if you want it its yours, if not ill probably get around to fixing her soon and ill see you guys in game, hopefully. :) |
