I've asked just about everybody who's been playing the game if they would be interested in playing competitively when it officially launches. Below is a link to an article with some brief information as to when this might begin and what to expect in terms of how long each season will be when it does actually begin. Take a look at his article as well as do some searches for any other information we can glean related to competitive play. See article here ---> [-link-] With that said, it looks like we already have enough players both in the clan and friends of the clan to begin playing custom server sessions. We can set up our own 6 vs 6 sessions and begin working on skills, combined team work, scenario play, just about anything we can think up to help us all get better and then test it in open play. I have begun to notice that the competition is getting very very tough which is good. But whereas we were pretty much dominating matches where we had at least 5 of 6 players in TS, that advantage is no longer an advantage for us. I don't mind getting my ass whooped fair and square as long as I walk away learning something from the encounter. I will be recording more often going forward, especially when our entire team is clan members and friends. I am hoping that some of you will also record as well because if we want to counter something that one person sees from their perspective its not always best just communicating it in channel. Being able to look at it from a video can go a long ways towards others understanding whats going on and coming up with options to deal with the problem should we encounter it again. I am sure you all get what I am trying to say so 12 eyes are better than two, we all need to have input on how to deal with and counter enemy attacks and defenses. I am really looking forward to playing competitively once again. The game is fun, but its outstanding when played with friends. |
