[-link-] The odd part is they don't list a download from ATI directly on the thread...but feedback seems to suggest they are real. However, a 4850 and 4870 (I guess the 4 series in general) seems to still sputter on load times. 5 series has improved load times but some folks are reporting slight temp increases. Use at your own risk. I would suggest reading the thread first. On a side note Nvidia released the new WHQL verified drivers yesterday. Edited Wed Apr 14 2010, 09:48PM |

Interesting. Thanks for the post. I tried the 10.3 beta drivers before the official came out and it did help. Don't know about the 10.4 though. And since I have a 4850, I think I'll stay away from them. I know that in the past ATi has had a few problems with mismanaging their fan controls. I wouldn't want to burn up my card with a known driver issue. Besides, my load times are slow because of my cpu. Until that's upgraded, it takes about a minute to minunte and a half to load into a map. Woe-is-me when I come in at map end. Ugh! Lol | ||

Suicide now loads in faster then me by a good 2-3 seconds...and I have 2 GTX285s in SLI. Going to do some computer maintenance tomorrow though, I need to catch up by at least half a second. =P Edited Thu Apr 15 2010, 05:44AM | ||
