i have fun playing game...its just like cod4 mw...with different perks, challenges, etc. u can call a harriet jet, b2 bomber, predator guide missle, sentry gun and few more with kills streaks. u can also call a support care package after 4 kills that has a different items. peer to peer gaming not too bad. trouble is u cant pick your own server to play. u have to create server and invite friends to play. I play on the PS3, and I absolutely love it. I can see why PC gamers would hate it tho, with the lack of dedicated servers and what not. All that being said, the story is phenominal, and the multiplayer on console is pretty awesome. No having to worry about someone having better framerates, and the connection is solid. 9.9/10 imo

Read my posts on why you should boycott MW2 and Activision in general. [-link-] But in a brief summary, no more mods, no more player made maps, no more communities, no more lean, no more dedicated servers, host has unfair ping advantage over others (as shown by folks who unlocked the console and were able to display pings), hacks are updating faster than IW can stamp them out, IW can kill the game after they release their next game by closing down the listening servers for MW2, but they will still charge you for the new maps up until that time, Activision will make you pay to play online with their next title as well, All this an more, for $10 dollars more in fact. Face it CoD is dead. The only reason to buy it is for the console version. Which also has it's own slew of problems, for instance on the 360 you don't get to use party chat, which is frak up because you pay $50 a year to have that ability on xbox live (a subscription to play online with others). I'm not familiar with the PS3 version but it does suffer visually when compared to the xbox and pc versions. Edited Tue Nov 24 2009, 05:11AM |

Are you serious? The PS3 has way better graphics than the 360. Party chat is working, and there are 0, zero, none, nadda, zilch as far as connection problems.

I'm not getting it. $60?! Really?! About 6 hours of single player and peer to peer? Too much cash as far as I'm concerned. Seems like it was meant for consoles. My opinion.

Yeah it definitely feels like it was developed for consoles.

Actually the graphics card on the 360 has twice as much memory and is indeed more powerful then the one installed on the ps3...most multiplatform games that get released end up looking better on the 360 because the developers have more freedom on how to allocate their memory usage. Here is a video comparison. [-link-] For the most part they are almost identical but there are times when the PS3 falters and looks washed out. An even more stark contrast is in Bayonetta... [-link-] And there are connection problems...Aust ralia can't even play the game because one foreigner will make the whole game lag, and heaven help them if that guy gets host migration...you have to look at the whole picture here...you may not have connection issues but your location plays a big role in that equation. I'm not going to say the PS3 sucks because it doesn't and even I want one. Edited Tue Nov 24 2009, 07:54PM |

I got it, and love it. Single player was actually pretty compelling gaming. And the multi-player is better than it was in CoD4. I'm fairly strapped for time these days, so I play more casually, and the no-dedicated- servers thing doesn't bug me, I guess.

I got it for PS3 and I don't like it at all. My kid loves it though and kicks ass with the riot shield. I much prefer World at War. Even the graphics for WaW are better in my opinion
