Just thought I'd take a moment to mention that the MMORPG called Dungeon's and Dragon's Unlimited is free to download and play online. I wouldn't even mention it, but the game is pretty good and better than all the other free fluff mmo's that have been pouring out from some companies. The game has been around for awhile, but the graphics are pretty damn good when you get the high graphic download. There's plenty of people playing it. You can get it here if you like: Take a look at the site here: [-link-] Sign up and download it here: [-link-] Not bad when you're bored as hell and need something to do :) |

All you have to do is download the D&D Unlimited installer. You don't have to enter a keycode to play. Just do the normal signup on the d&d website after you install and the installer will do the rest :) You only get two player slots, though you can buy more if you need them. I started a Cleric and liked it, but decided I wanted a hardnosed fighter. I'm glad I did because my fighter is walking through dungeons so easily. heh heh. I'm on a fairly old system, but I can run the game on all high settings including DX 10 stuff. This is by far the best free mmorpg around. I can see why people payed for it when it first came out. |

I actually tried the WoW 10-day trial a while back. I wasn't too impressed with it to tell you the truth. I played Warhammer Online for 4 months back when it first came out and besides the p2p, I really liked it. The graphics were great. The only pay 2 play game I have any thoughts of playing is Star Trek Online (STO). The character builder, which is the same used in Champions Online, is awesome. I played a 4-day weekend of Champions and enjoyed that a good bit. I'm playing D&D because it's free. The game is superb for a free game. I don't get much time during the week to play it, but the weekends are filled up with it. It was pay to play just over a year ago. heh heh. Anyway, STO comes out in february. Maybe we can all get together and mmo the hell outa that one (providing we're all employed and doing well ;) ) |
